My academy classmate Tom Veade got married to Kathleen in New Orleans. The ceremony was held in a beautiful church downtown, and after the reception we all went to Bourbon Street.

Today we arrived in Pensacola and began moving into our apartment. I'm rooming with Jen again and we really like our new place. It is located in NE Pensacola and the weather thus far has been amazing! We're looking forward to checking in to base tomorrow and finding how long we have to wait to begin flight training. Sometimes students have to wait a few months before they can start! Hopefully, that won't be the case.

I graduated from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) on June 13th, 2006. A lot of my family came out to celebrate with me. The day before, we had a BBQ picnic for all the Ensigns and their families. The graduation took place in the National Air Force Museum. I earned a masters degree in aeronautical engineering.

Greg and I joined a crew club in Dayton. This ragada was located in Columbus. The mixed 8 took 3th place and the men's 8 took 1st!
